BW health care MBA grad elevated to president and CEO role

Kendra UrdzikBW health care MBA graduate Kendra Urdzik, MBA '08, was recently appointed as president and chief executive officer (CEO) at Judson Services Inc., a Cleveland-based not-for-profit organization for elder care and aging services.

As an experienced and diverse leader within the health care industry for over 20 years, Urdzik has developed in-depth workforce development goals with an emphasis on technology.

In a company press release, Urdzik said, "When I first started at Judson, it was really the administration that moved things forward. Now, we see our role as a partnership with our members. How we work together to enhance the future has become a dialogue."

Urdzik has worked for Judson since 2001 in a variety of management positions such as director of Judson Home Care, vice president of Judson at Home, and vice president of health services and chief collaborative health officer. Her past experience also includes work as a licensed nursing home administrator in addition to a certificate in gerontology. Additionally, she is a member of LeadingAge Leadership Academy, which provides national leadership training in healthcare.

Judson provides independent living, assisted living, memory support services, long-term nursing care, short-term rehabilitation and home care for the elderly and aging across Northern Ohio.
