Big Give yields big results

Graphic for The Big Give

It was a big day for YJ4L spirit as the Baldwin Wallace community came together to raise a record-breaking $230,744 for this year's Big Give.

The annual fundraising event, held March 27, marks the fifth year of record-breaking totals - with this year's campaign topping last year's by $19,643.

"The 2018 Big Give was the highest in dollar amount as well as total donors. The social share aspect of donors asking their friends and family to join them in contributing to Big Give was instrumental in our success. A total of 1,020 donors responded, of which 182 were new contributors," said Patrick Dunlavy, BW Vice President for Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement.

"The generosity of BW alumni, trustees, friends, foundations, faculty, staff and current students coming together to support Baldwin Wallace reflects the strength of our community and our mission to prepare students for personal and professional excellence," he noted.

"Thanks to everyone who participated," added Dunlavy. "Your gift will benefit current and future generations of BW students. For individuals who were unable to donate on March 27, it isn't too late. We are continuing to welcome donor gifts."
