Maddy Lambdin '24 stood out from hundreds of students and recent grads from across the nation to earn brand new recognition for Super Bowl volunteers.
December Baldwin Wallace University sport management graduate Maddy Lambdin '24 is one of 10 students out of 1,500 from across the country who supported the NFL's Super Bowl Week this year to be recognized as a "Super Bowl TEAMMATE MVP."
The recognition was developed with the support of MoonShot, the provider of customer service training for the NFL.
Lambdin, a Perry County High School graduate, transferred to BW to study in BW's sport management program after earning an associate's degree from Lakeland Community College.
The 2025 Super Bowl was Lambin's second time working the event with BW, which she says is a huge networking and peer-bonding event.
"I enjoyed the trip for the networking opportunities with those in the industry but also for the opportunity to get to know other sport management students in the program," Lambdin says. "The trips offered through the Sport Management Club allow us to hang out both professionally and socially, which is a lot of fun."
Earning recognition, which came with a mini NFL helmet, was a bonus on top of the work experience.
"The helmet is a great piece to get. It's nice to know that other people were watching and recognizing the work I put in on the trip. Even though the trip was fun, we were there to work."
Lambdin is currently employed as an assistant manager in training for the retail department of the Cleveland Guardians.
Her long-term career goals are to be a part of an NBA or NFL team in quality control or as a data analytics coach.
The Super Bowl wasn't Lambdin's only hands-on experience during her time as a BW sport management major. She and Nevan Quinn '24 (left) are seen here on the court working media relations at the April 2024 Women's NCAA Basketball Final Four.
