Strive for College, which works to help first-generation and low-income students achieve college success, has commended Baldwin Wallace University for excellence in inclusion, degree completion and outcomes that demonstrate social mobility.

Success demonstrated by data

Data on BW shows high performance in three key areas that demonstrate strong student access and success.

  • Inclusion - At least one in four BW students comes from a low-income family.

  • Completion - BW meets or exceeds the national averages for retention AND graduation for Pell Grant recipients.

  • Outcomes - BW is among the schools with the highest percentage of students who came from a lower-income family and ended up as a higher-income earning adult after graduation.

Strive for College promotes a select list of college and university partners that foster successful outcomes for first-generation and Pell-eligible college students.

At BW, those students have an array of academic, financial and social support services that better enables them to succeed.
