BW grad honored as longtime mentor, coach, teacher and volunteer

Photo of Tyrone MosleyAfter nearly three decades of teaching and mentoring youth in Orrville, Ohio, the life's work of Tyrone Mosley '93 was recognized with the 2019 Lydia Thompson Humanitarian Award. The honor, named after a longtime Wooster resident who worked tirelessly "to make the community a better place," was presented at the Wooster/Orrville NAACP Freedom Fund dinner.

During 27 years at Orrville High School, Mosley has served as a health and physical education teacher, football and track coach, and mentor. Mosley also regularly answers the call to volunteer at a number of community organizations. "Any organization that calls on me to help, I'll volunteer," Mosley is quoted as saying in his acceptance speech.
