Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead

SKETCHBOOK SERIES

By Tom Stoppard
Directed by René D. Copeland

One of the most popular dark comedies in the English language, the play reimagines the story of Shakespeare's "Hamlet," only this time Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are the leads while Hamlet is a minor character. Our heroes are nevertheless trapped in "Hamlet," and with witty dialogue and clever wordplay, they struggle to figure out what they are supposed to be doing and what might be their fate.

With profound insight, this play delves into the nature of free will and reality, hilariously riffing on the oh-so human question, "Why am I even here?"
