The Kalamos Trio: A Journey to Poland
The Kalamos Trio is Northeast Ohio’s premier reed trio. Weaving together the vibrant colors of the clarinet, oboe and bassoon together in perfect harmony, they also seek to weave together hearts and souls in the community as well.
Having formed following the COVID-19 pandemic out of a craving for connection, Thomas Wissler, Thomas English, and Ian Daugherty came together to explore the vast and varied repertoire of the reed trio. The group has served to unite their spirits of playful creativity and provide a space for nourishment and growth.
The Kalamos Trio hopes to share this joy with audiences and to provide a space to explore those intangible parts of ourselves together.
