Monica Stybel is an adjunct nursing faculty member at Baldwin Wallace University. Currently, she works as an emergency medicine float pool resource nurse. Stybel's areas of expertise in nursing include behavioral health and emergency medicine.
She began her nursing career in geriatric psychiatry, and then moved on to an acute adult psychiatry unit where she took a leadership position. She then pursued her Master of Health Care Administration from Ohio University. After working on the acute adult psychiatry unit, she moved into the field of emergency medicine and concurrently worked as a sexual assault nurse examiner and as an adjunct faculty member at Case Western Reserve University. She completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Ohio University with a focus in executive leadership.
Stybel is a member of the Emergency Nurses Association and was a poster presenter at the 2018 Pathways to Excellence Conference.
