Jeremy Paytas is a lecturer teaching applied marketing analytics. His experience in marketing analytics began at National City Bank and Key Bank. He then went on to the customer engagement agency Precision Dialogue (now RR Donnelly Marketing Services), where he built and managed the campaign management function and later managed the business intelligence and reporting department. At Precision Dialogue, he worked with companies ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies, including Sherwin Williams, Regions Bank, Puma and World Market. He developed marketing strategies, executed marketing campaigns and analyzed marketing performance.
Paytas is now manager of marketing analytics at Hyland Software in Westlake, Ohio. At Hyland, Jeremy expanded his extensive business-to-consumer knowledge into the business-to-business realm, focusing on customer engagement, pipeline analysis and campaign performance analysis and reporting.
Paytas is an avid Tableau user and is co-leader of the Cleveland Tableau User Group. He is passionate about marketing analytics and thoroughly enjoys working with data, creating data visualizations and utilizing data to drive insights through storytelling and analysis.
Paytas earned an undergraduate degree in business administration with a major in marketing. Soon after, he earned his master's degree in business administration, with a focus on marketing and entrepreneurship.
