Amy O'Brien, MA/CCC-SLP, is an associate professor in the communication sciences and disorders program. Her primary focus is clinical supervision of undergraduate and graduate students in the Baldwin Wallace Speech Clinic as well as at local community partnerships.
She is passionate about clinical education and is focused on developing student clinicians into independent professionals. Her clinical interests include speech sound disorders, literacy, autism, early intervention, and pediatric speech/language development.
Before joining the faculty at Baldwin Wallace, she worked as a speech-language pathologist in a variety of settings including pediatric outpatient, home health and schools. She is licensed by the Ohio Board of Speech/Language Pathology and belongs to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
