Jodi Burdon is an adjunct nursing faculty member at Baldwin Wallace University. She has been employed by University Hospitals since 2008 and oversees maternity services at St. John Medical Center. Burdon previously held nursing leadership positions at Akron Children’s Hospital (NICU), Cleveland Clinic Foundation – Maternity and Pediatric Services, Project Manager, Continuous Improvement, Curriculum Director and Instructor at Central School of Practical Nursing and more than 15 years of Obstetrical Bedside Nursing.
Burdon is a passionate nurse leader who strives to be knowledgeable and compassionate while making a difference in the lives of patients, nurses and students. She believes in a holistic approach to nursing and teaching with an emphasis on self-care. Strives to integrate critical thinking and the nursing process in order to serve those seeking to learn.
