Favorite quote: "Procrastination is one of the most common and deadliest of diseases and its toll on success and happiness is heavy." - Wayne Gretzky
Biggest mistake as a first-year student? What did you learn? Not getting involved enough. I did not enjoy BW because I wasn't involved enough. Thanks to my fraternity brothers, they pushed me to get more involved and I fell in love with the campus.
How did you choose your major? I wanted to do something with medicine coming into BW, but not sure what I should do for undergrad. Dr. Shively really made me fall in love with chemistry so I switched to chemistry my sophomore year..
What has been your best experience at BW? Joining my fraternity. I have developed so much as a person thanks to my brothers. I would not have as many opportunities without their help. I will always cherish the stories and times I have made with the group of guys I am with.
Favorite spot on campus? Carmel Lawn. It's fun to hang out on a nice day playing games and blasting music.
What
is
one
thing
you
want
the
incoming
students
to
know
as
they
get
ready
for
their
summer
orientation
experience?
It
is
OK
to
make
mistakes!
Make
sure
to
learn
from
them
and
try
to
prevent
yourself
from
making
them
again.
It's
important
to
make
sure
you
have
time
for
school,
but
make
sure
to
make
time
for
yourself
and
friends/family.
What
is
one
major
piece
of
advice
you
would
give
new
incoming
students
to
help
them
succeed
in
their
first
year
at
BW?
Don't
be
afraid
to
go
out
of
your
comfort
zone.
Get
involved
on
campus
and
make
the
best
time
of
the
four
years
you
have
here.
If
you
are
not
sure
about
something
or
need
help
ask
for
it.
