Biggest mistake as a first-year student? What did you learn? My biggest mistake as a first year student was to not go out of my comfort zone. I was very timid to try new things, and missed out on some great experiences.
How did you choose your major? I chose my major based on how many previous teachers have impacted my life. I have always had a passion for helping others, and helping children discover their dreams, and inspire them to reach for the stars like so many did for me would be such a rewarding experience.
What has been your best experience at BW? My absolute best experience at BW has been going through Sorority recruitment. I have met so many amazing people through this experience, and know I have created connections that will last me a lifetime.
Favorite spot on campus? My favorite spot on campus is the Cyber Cafe. You can always find a friendly face in the morning and in the evening, and it is a great spot to have group study sessions.
What is one thing you want the incoming students to know as they get ready for the summer orientation experience? At some points it may be a lot, but make the most out of this experience. Some of the people you meet will be your friends for the next four years. Also have fun! Go out of your comfort zone, and don't be afraid to stand out.
What is one major piece of advice you would give new incoming students to help them succeed in their first year at BW? Remember to get involved! My freshmen year I was able to join amazing organizations that have shaped my future career path. Baldwin Wallace has outstanding opportunities to take advantage of that will help you grow as an excellent leader.
