What makes BW distinctive for me?
I love that BW is a smaller university nestled right outside of such a bustling city. At BW, the campus community ensures each student feels as though they are an individual, rather than another number in the classroom. Professors make sure they get to know their students and find the best opportunities to help them succeed.

What do I love most about Berea and Cleveland?
I love that you are able to have a small-town experience in Berea, taking in the sights of both the historical architecture BW has to offer, as well as the beauty of the Metroparks! I am, however, a Cleveland girl to my core. I love that there is always something going on downtown, and I love when the city is decorated for the holidays! I am also a huge Cleveland sports fan — Go Guards!

What is the most interesting place I have visited?
I would say the most interesting place I have visited has to be Houston, Texas. I recently attended the Houston Rodeo, which was one of the most exciting and fun experiences! It's true what they say, everything is bigger in Texas.

If I could meet any historical figure, who would it be and why?
I would like to meet Jim Henson! My dad introduced me to the Muppets when I was younger and they became our "thing!" My dad has since passed away, and whenever I miss him I turn on the old Muppet Show. I'd like to thank Jim for all of the happy memories he helped to create!

My message to prospective students thinking about the value of college and BW:
College isn't just where you go to earn a degree, it is an investment in your future. You will learn valuable life lessons, make lifelong friendships, and become a more well-rounded version of yourself. My biggest piece of advice is to listen to your gut and choose the university that feels like home. Close your eyes and see if you can picture yourself on move-in day, walking the stage at graduation, and being a proud alum when your own child tours one day!
