Medical School Early Assurance Program

Are you passionate about a career in medicine? BW's early assurance program for medical school could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Pre-medical student earns early assurance to medical school through BW.

What is an Early Assurance Program for Medical School?

An early assurance medical school program provides students in high school and college an opportunity to have a guaranteed seat in a future matriculating medical school class.

The Baldwin Wallace medical school early assurance program is a pre-medical pathway that offers early assurance for medical school for students pursuing a medical degree in primary or specialty medicine. It aligns with program requirements of D.O. and M.D. medical schools and prepares students for the MCAT and medical school success.

BW is an undergraduate medical school affiliate of Ohio University's Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (OU-HCOM), the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) and Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED).

Early assurance admision to these medical schools is contingent upon successful completion of all admission and program requirements set forth by each institution, including, but not limited to, the completion of a bachelor's degree from Baldwin Wallace University.

In addition to the early assurance program, BW also offers a traditional pathway to medical school for undergraduate students. For both the early assurance and tradtional pathway, students can major in any discipline. Common majors include biology, chemistry and neuroscience.
