Dental School Early Assurance Program

Are you considering a career in dental medicine? BW's early assurance program for dental school can provide you with a pathway to a rewarding career in dentistry.

BW's early assurance program provides a pathway to dental school.

What is an Early Assurance Program for Dental School?

An early assurance dental program offers high school and college students an opportunity to have a reserved seat in a future matriculating dental school class.

BW's dental school early assurance program is an outstanding pathway for a career in dentistry.

Dentistry offers a broad range of professional opportunities, including dental and oral medicine, aesthetic enhancement, implant technologies, surgical facial reconstruction, and clinical and laboratory research.

BW is an undergraduate dental school affiliate of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM).

Early assurance admision is provisional until final acceptance to dental school is granted by LECOM. Acceptance to dental school is contingent upon successful completion of all admission and program requirements set forth by the dental school, including, but not limited to, the completion of a bachelor's degree from BW.

In addition to the early assurance program, BW also offers a traditional pathway to dental school for undergraduate students. For both the early assurance and tradtional pathway, students can major in any discipline. Common majors are biology and chemistry.
