The Center for Global Exploration offers a variety of off-campus options for all disciplines and majors. Students can take part in faculty-led group seminars, study at a foreign university or participate in internships in the U.S. or abroad. See the world for a semester, a summer, or even a full year - the choice is yours.

AFFORDABLE

Costs for most study abroad and off-campus programs are comparable to the cost of a semester at BW.

For fall and spring programs, your federal and institutional financial aid applies to programs recommended by Baldwin Wallace University (program capacity limits may apply). First-time study abroad participants may also qualify for a BW study abroad grant or a program-specific scholarship!

The cost of faculty-led study abroad programs typically includes airfare, accommodations, ground transportation, admission/activity fees and some meals.

As a member of the Institute of International Education's Generation Study Abroad campaign, Baldwin Wallace is committed to doubling the number of students who study abroad by the year 2019.

MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2.5 GPA
  • Sophomore status
  • Completion of at least one full semester at BW
  • A clear student conduct record for one year

ANNUAL REPORTS

    During their time abroad in China, students experience five thousand years of Chinese culture alongside modern-day business and management practices. Visits with local companies give students insight into the world of international business.
