In his 15 months at Baldwin Wallace, Greg Cingle is transforming the University's finance operations through strong leadership, technology and new initiatives. As chief financial officer, Cingle is giving a careful eye to implementing procedures that will help strengthen BW and bolster revenue-generating programs and opportunities across all areas of campus in positioning the University to move forward with its strategic goals.

Cingle came to BW in April 2023 with impressive credentials that include decades of financial experience and leadership. He had a successful 28-year career as director of finance/taxation for the City of Brook Park, Ohio. In addition to that elected position, he concurrently held the roles of director of finance for the City of Fairview Park, Ohio, and tax administrator for the Village of Brooklyn Heights, Ohio.

His professional experience also includes consultant work and roles as treasurer and global commodities manager for an international manufacturing company.

As BW's CFO, Cingle provides strategic collaboration and contribution to all areas of the University's finance operations, including guiding the development, implementation and monitoring of the BW operating and capital budgets. He also manages the finance, payroll and accounting departments and ensures that Baldwin Wallace is in legal and regulatory compliance for all fiscal affairs.

In addition to his bachelor of arts degree, Cingle has an Executive MBA from Case Western Reserve University and holds membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, among several other organizations. He is a licensed CPA.
