We are pleased to announce that Christy Burke Walkuski has been named as the new Director of Community Outreach! Christy will begin her position part-time in September and full-time in October. Bio coming soon!
Julie Bishop is the Assistant Director of Community Outreach. Julie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a Master of Arts degree in Education from Baldwin Wallace University. Currently in her ninth year as Assistant Director, she has had a longstanding history of involvement in OCO both as an undergraduate student and a Graduate Assistant. Originally from Massillon, Julie lives in Brooklyn with her husband, Rob, and son, Abraham. She enjoys outdoor activities, reading and spending time with friends and family. Julie is passionate about service, education and social justice related issues.

Katy Johnson is the Graduate Intern in the Office of Community Outreach. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Baldwin Wallace in May 2014 and is currently enrolled in the Leadership in Higher Education Masters Program at BW. Katy had experience in OCO as an undergraduate student as a member of the 2012 Alternative Summer Break Team. She was named the Baldwin Wallace Student Volunteer of the Year for the years 2013 and 2014 and was awarded the Campus and Community Service Award for Athletes in 2014 for her efforts in community service during her time as an undergraduate. Katy was active in Circle K and participated in numerous community service projects including a Habitat trip to Waterloo, Iowa. Katy was a two-year varsity letterman in women’s lacrosse at BW. Originally from Coshocton, Ohio, Katy currently resides in Berea. She enjoys supporting Baldwin Wallace athletics, spending time with friends and family and giving back to the community.
