Faculty Service-Learning Advisory Council
The Service-Learning Advisory Council is a core group of faculty members representing the seven academic divisions who promote and advocate for service-learning on campus by providing advice and direction to the Director of Service-Learning.
Responsibilities:
~Develop recommendations for strengthening service-learning on campus.
~Serve as a liaison to academic divisions to promote faculty awareness of service-learning.
~Consult with faculty colleagues who are interested in utilizing service-learning.
~Determine which courses may be designated as “SL.”
~Review and approve Service-Learning Plus One Credit Option applications.
~Review and update service-learning policies.
