Community Partners

Each year, the Office of Community Outreach partners with over 75 community organizations throughout Berea and the Greater Cleveland community.  Through service experiences, service-learning courses and internships, our students, faculty, and staff are involved in numerous community impact areas including: hunger, environment and sustainability, poverty, arts and culture, immigration, education, senior adults, and public health.

By partnering with your organization, not only are we able to meet community identified needs, but you are helping foster civic understanding, social responsibility and leadership skills in our BW students.

Opportunities to connect with OCO:

  • Become a service site for a one-day service event
  • Propose a service experience or project for a service-learning course
  • Host volunteers from a student organization
  • Collaborate on trainings and workshops for student leaders
  • Become a partner for our Jacket Philanthropy Program
