Order of Omega, Greek Leadership Honor Society is comprised of junior and senior Fraternity and Sorority men and women who exemplify outstanding leadership and scholarship. Selected members are responsible for an $95.00 initiation fee.
The Order of Omega was founded at the University of Miami in the fall of 1959 by a group of outstanding fraternity men, who felt that individuals in the Greek community should be recognized for their service to the Greek system and the University. Three criteria for application are: Greek membership, junior or senior status, and a cumulative GPA above the all Greek average, which is currently a 3.223.
Members of the Fraternity and Sorority Community that are eligible for membership in Order of Omega will be invited to apply via an email letter in February.
Completed applications will be due through this website by Thursday, February 14, 2013 by 11:59 p.m. From the applications received, the selection committee will select new members. You will be notified of your acceptance at the Pi for Pie event on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 9:30 p.m.
We hope that you strongly consider applying. Membership in Order of Omega does not require a significant time commitment, but is a tremendous honor.
