What is SPROUT?
The SPROUT program is a comprehensive residential program for single parents (ages 18-23) and their children. With year-round campus housing, nearby day care, and a strong community of support, a parent has the best possible environment for personal and academic success.
SPROUT participants ...
- are full-time students, responsible for their own academic success
- are responsible for a portion of the financial cost of tuition -- paid through work-study jobs, scholarships and loans
- juggle child care along with campus responsibilities
- participate in a series of self-development and educational programs outside of the classroom
- have only one child
