This course will instruct the beginning digital photographer with the necessary skills and knowledge in the creation of digital photographs Students will learn the basics of digital photography and imaging: How to use the camera to control shutter, aperture, exposure, focusing, special effects, etc.; How digital images are recorded, resolution, storage |

options and processing the digital mage; How to use Adobe Photoshop to fine tune, |
|
manipulate and prepare an image for printing; How to think in visual terms for good composition and design; exercising creativity by solving visual problems. A minimum 3MP (megapixel) |
|
digital camera is required for the course. The course will include field trips to the Metroparks and Cleveland Zoo. There will be preassigned photography and reading assignments. |
