Requests for Accommodations

College students have the right to choose to disclose or not to disclose their disability. If students choose not to disclose, then they will not receive accommodations. The College is not required to provide accommodations to students who do not self-disclose their disability.

Early consultation increases the likelihood that all the necessary services and accommodations are in place by the beginning of each term.

Faculty and staff are not obligated to accommodate any student whose request is not made in a timely manner and is not conveyed in a letter from Disability Services or the Learning Center.
