BW Career Advising Services Continue for Alumni
“Our staff is available to provide career advising as well as assistance with job searches and in times of transition for our alumni,” says Carmen Castro-Rivera, director of Career Services. “It’s part of being a Yellow Jacket for Life.
“While serving current students is our highest priority, summer and university breaks are great times for alumni to meet with staff for one-on-one career advising appointments,” she adds.
In addition, Career Services offers an Alumni Career Workshop during each fall and spring semester. Workshops are designed specifically to present information and polish skills to be successful in career transitions.
Alumni also have access to Career Technology tools including the Alumni Tab on the Career Services website and the Baldwin Wallace Career Network (BWCN). The BWCN is a web-based platform that provides employers with the ability to post professional (degree required) positions and internship opportunities for Baldwin Wallace University students and alumni to view and apply for online.
Through the BWCN, alumni can also publish their resumes in electronic resume books and connect with career mentors for advice and support. Contact Career Services to inquire about access to the BWCN. BW also provides other opportunities for alumni career networking on an ongoing basis.
