Baldwin Wallace has worked tirelessly to contain tuition costs; our annual increases remain among the lowest of any college or university in Ohio. Nonetheless, more than 90 percent of our students now receive aid of some kind, and financial assistance has become the largest component of our operating costs. Our commitment in 1996 was $10 million; today, it exceeds $17 million. We need strong endowed funds to sustain a financial aid program on this scale.
To ensure access for qualified students, BW must be able to reward outstanding achievements as well as provide general scholarship and other loan programs.
