Our Mission

Adult and Continuing Education is dedicated to providing exceptional service and support to all non-traditional students pursuing their educational goals at Baldwin Wallace University.

Characteristics of an Adult or Non-Traditional Student 

Students meeting one or more of the following criteria may be considered a non-traditional student:

  • Undergraduates age 24 years or older
  • Starting or returning to college more than four years after high school
  • Veteran, Active Military or Reservist
  • Considered financially independent for purposes of determining financial aid
  • Fulfill multiple adult roles such as parent, spouse/partner, caregiver, employee, and student 

Adult and Continuing Education supports and encourages the academic success of adult and non-traditional students by providing:

  • Referrals to Student Support Services
  • Degree Completion Mapping
  • Online Resources
  • Scholarship Opportunities
  • Veteran Services
  • Veterans Day Program
