The Yellow Jacket Women's Tennis Team is Defeated By Oberlin, 7-2, to Drop to

13-4 Overall; Plays OAC-Rival Marietta This Afternoon

BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis team was defeated by Oberlin, 7-2, today (Saturday, April 9, 2005) in a nonleague match at the "Pop" Collins Courts.

With the loss, the Yellow Jackets drop to 13-4 overall, and still remain within two victories of the school single-season record of 15. With its win, Oberlin is now 13-2 overall.

In singles play, freshman Tiffany Allison (Chagrin Falls/ Kenston) was the only winner. With her win at No.3 singles, Allison improved to 7-3 overall.

In doubles action, the No.3 pair of junior Ashley Sanders (North Canton/ St. Thomas Aquinas) and junior Liz Moore (Huron) were the only one's to win. With their win, the duo improved to 2-1 overall. Despite their loss at No.1 doubles, Isaac and Glassburn are now 15-6 overall.

The Yellow Jacket women will be back in action this afternoon (April 9) when they host OAC-rival Marietta on the "Pop" Collins Courts in Berea at 1:00 p.m.
