2011-12 Notes: Lindsey Cooper played her second season of women's soccer at Baldwin Wallace University in 2011-12 and helped the Yellow Jackets to compile an 11-9 record and earn a berth in the Ohio Athletic Conference Playoffs. She again was one of the best midfielders in the OAC and earned second-team All-OAC and third-team NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region honors. Additionally, Lindsey was named to the NCAA Division III All-Ohio Second Team. This was her first NCAA acolade. Lindsey carries a 3.33 grade point average in pre-physical therapy and earned honorable mention All-OAC accolades. This season, Lindsey led the team in goals with six and had two assists for a total 14 points scored. 2010-11 Notes: As a junior, Lindsey started all 21 games and recorded four goals and a team-high 5 assists for 13 points. She recorded her first goal as a Yellow Jacket on Sept. 10. 2010 versus Fredonia State (N.Y.) and tallied her first assist on Sept. 18, 2010 against Grove City (Pa.) College. She went on to earn her first varsity letter and was named honorable mention for the All-OAC team. 2009-10 Notes: Lindsey spent her freshman year at High Point (N.C.) University. She transferred to BW in the fall of 2010-11. OTHER BW NOTES AND INFORMATION: Lindsey is currently studying pre-physical therapy and would like to pursue a career as an occupational therapist. HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: At New Albany High School, Lindsey played four years of soccer and earned four varsity letters. She also played four years of basketball earning three varsity letters and ran track for one year earning one varsity letter. Lindsey was second team All-Ohio Capital Conference two years for soccer and one year for basketball. At New Albany, she was a dean's list student. |
