BEREA, OHIO --
Baldwin Wallace University sophomore middle hitter Rachel Switalski (North Royalton/Holy Name) has been selected to the 2010 All-Ohio Athletic Conference Volleyball Team, released today (Tuesday, November 9, 2010).

Switalski, a honorable mention All-OAC selection, led the Yellow Jackets with career-highs in kills and blocks with 280 and  70 respectively.  In addition, she recorded career-bests with  a .206 hitting percentage, 35 service aces and 134 digs while adding nine set assists.  Switalski was named to the all-tournament team at the 2010 Salisbury (Md.) University Seagull Classic.

In her two-year career, Switalski has tallied 344 kills, 194 digs, 97 blocks and 39 service aces.

This fall, BW had one of the best turnabouts in Division III and Switalski was a big part of the teamís success. Head Coach Vicki Braultís team won five matches last season and compiled a 20-13 mark with a young squad that loses just two seniors in its top nine players.
