Brian Moore '85
Although Brian Moore lettered in basketball and track, it was on the football field that he made a name for himself while a BW undergraduate. His career statistics are impressive. A quarterback for the Yellow Jackets, he held the BW and Ohio Athletic Conference record for completed pass attempts for the most yards. His 168 of 267 attempts with his 23 completions in a single game were school records.
When he graduated he was the NCAA Division III passing percentage leader for a four-year career. Brian was named the OAC Player of the Week three times and received BW's Most Valuable Offensive Player Award in 1983. He also received the Mike Gregory Award, which recognizes the OAC's most valuable offensive player. He was named All-OAC First Team, Pizza Hut All-American and BW's Outstanding Senior Athlete.
For several years he was the offensive coordinator for Division IAA Youngstown State University. Today he lives in New Jersey where he is a second vice president, Investments with Salomon Smith Barney, Inc.
