While on campus
We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Baldwin Wallace University, and give you some information that might be helpful during your visit.
The primary athletic training room is located on the first floor of the Higgins Center. Our general hours of operation are Monday through Friday 9:30 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. On weekends and official college holidays, the athletic training room is open for practice and event coverage. The athletic training room will open about two hours prior to the start of a contest and remain open thirty minutes after a contest. If you will be sending a team without an athletic training representative, please notify us ahead of time so we can make arrangements for your team. Also, if you need to use the facilities outside the above mentioned times, please call ahead so we can make the athletic training room available to you.
A certified staff athletic trainer will be in attendance at all home contests. The team physician will be in attendance for all home football, men's & women's basketball and wrestling events. Other home events, the team physician will be available on an on-call basis. EMS services are located two minutes from campus and are made aware of all home events. In the event that an athlete needs to be transported, Southwest General Medical Center is situated less than a mile from the campus.
During your contest, you will be provided with ice bags, water, cups, and supplies for dealing with blood-borne pathogens. Please let us know if you will need anything special for your athletes.
