It seems like only yesterday I was writing my last blog before Summer Vacation; now I am back at school starting all over again. I am proud to say that I have made it to my junior year. There are always those few moments when it seems like you will never reach the downward slope to your college education. Trust me, I have had my fair share of them. I met with my advisor the other day and we planned everything out. It looks like I will graduate in four years. (So yes, I consider this my downward slope.) Even though Baldwin Wallace brought in the rule about graduating in four years, guaranteed, a year after I became enrolled here, the advisors still look to make sure you get out of here in an attainable amount of time. That is one of the many reasons why I love BW.
The Yellow Jacket football team is currently 6-1 on the year. We are playing very well together and are beginning to peak, just at the right time. This Saturday (10/27/12) we play at home, The George Finnie Stadium, against Ohio Athletic Conference rival, Marietta. It will be a good game, and if you are in the area I recommend you stop by and cheer on your Jackets. For directions to our campus go to: http://www.bw.edu/quickfacts/directions/.
My schedule for this semester is very hectic and hardly find time to just relax; it does not help that I procrastinate all of the time. I am trying to change that characteristic about myself, and am even partaking in a health project to better organize my time. My one tip for the prospective students that may be reading this is: STAY ON TOP OF YOUR CLASSWORK!! If you do not, then it is likely that you will have a lot more stress in your life than you should. College is supposed to be the best four years of your life, so make sure you are not constantly doing homework when you could be having fun. Get out there and enjoy yourself. That’s all for now.
