Today has been a pretty demanding day so far; which I am starting to get used to because my life has been chaotic the past couple of weeks. The methods courses I am in are taking control of a great deal of my time. After I got done teaching yesterday, I came back to campus for football practice. After that I was exhausted and decided to turn in early. It was a good thing that I did because I woke up this morning at 6:30 for football meetings, which started at 7:00. After our meetings were over, I went to our Junior Football Recruit visit day. Here, myself and four other football players spoke to the recruits and their families about why we chose to come to Baldwin Wallace. I reiterated to them that this has been the best decision of my life up to this point. If I would not have come to this university I would have never had the opportunity to become a student blogger LOL.
After we spoke at the visit day, the other Yellow Jackets and I headed over to the Browns’ Practice Facility for one of our final spring practices. It was a short practice, but we were still able to benefit from it. Like our coach says, “We’ve got to get better every day.” My dad and a few family friends came up today and took me out to lunch. It was nice to get to see them and catch up. I was so tired from my busy morning that I decided to come home and take about a three hour nap. It might have been the best nap of my life. Now I am up watching episodes of South Park with my housemates (Yeah we have the mindsets of middle schoolers). Well I have to go plan lessons for next week’s school schedule, so that’s all for now.
