It’s about that time to listen to Christmas carols and decorate sugar cookies. Whether you celebrate Hanukah, Christmas, Kwanza or nothing at all it is time for the holidays! We at Lang Hall like to go big when it comes to the holidays. All four of us RA’s are collaborating to put together an awesome holiday party. There will be cookie frosting and ornament making. We are also stressing the importance of different cultural holiday traditions such as the Swedish tradition of leaving your shoes near the fireplace for Santa to put treats in (instead of stockings).
In preparation for our program we went to the Salvation Army and bought ugly Christmas sweaters to wear in the picture we took for the party invitations. We got some pretty great ones. I forgot how ugly some Christmas sweaters are. I even found one gem that said “Berry Christmas” with teddy bears dancing all over it. We took several pictures in the Lang lobby and on the stairs. The program is December 2nd and all of Lang is welcome!
