Last week was Thanksgiving Break and it was great! I was able to go home for the whole break and spend it relaxing with my family. I got home late Wednesday night since I was babysitting up here in Berea. On Thursday morning my family and I watched the Macy’s Day parade while we were making food for our Thanksgiving Dinner. After we had all the food made we watched Elf, this is one of our favorite Christmas movies so it was a great way to kick off the holiday season. While we were watching the movie my brother and I decorated our Christmas tree. There are tons of ornaments with old pictures of my siblings and me so it was great looking at all of those.
After we were done with the movie and the tree it was time to eat! It was amazing having great food cooked by my parents after living up here at school for so long and making not so great food for myself. The rest of actual Thanksgiving was not very eventful; we saw a movie that night and relaxed. On Friday my sister and her husband came over and we took pictures for our Christmas card. Then we went shopping and had dinner together. On Saturday my sister and her husband had our family and his family over to watch the OSU game, it was really fun to all get together. After the game my dad, my brother and I went down to my grandparent’s house and spent the evening with them. Overall it was a great relaxing break!
