   Been at BW 5 years. Just completed 53 years of education since I began in 1958.

Questions and answers

Why did you choose to teach at BW?

The philosophy of Peter Hoekje, Department Chairman was similar to mine. Also a chance to teach prospective middle school science teacher hands on physics activities to use in their future classrooms.

How do you mentor students?

I make myself available to help them when they ask. I also arrive in class 1 hour before class to be available to help.

What do students like best about your class?

That I am prepared, am caring and available to help. That I have the ability to simplify and organize concepts so that they cane be understood.

If you weren't teaching what would you be doing?

Retired again. Helping and mentoring teachers on list serves on the internet.
