I left campus Thursday night and am going to be heading back a little later this afternoon (Monday). It's been a nice quiet break. I'm sick so it was good to rest. I got to go to two of my favorite restaurants, Los Compadres, the “go to” Bula Mexican joint and Briquettes the BBQ smokehouse down by the lake. In addition to eating lots of delicious and unhealthy food, I was lucky enough to do some relaxing and catching up on the Oscar nominated films. My mom and I watched Wolf of Wallstreet on Friday night and American Hustle last night, both awesome films.
Easter was semi uneventful but a beautiful day, so we took advantage and went to my favorite Lake Erie beach for a walk with my dog, had a nontraditional Easter dinner of Mexican and got sundaes at the ice cream shop up the road. 'Twas a simple and rejuvenating weekend off, and much needed, considering we're going into two different MT performances one at Nighttown and the other for "Dazzle the District" Playhouse Square Chandelier Ceremony , finals, and I have late night gigs With the band I sing with coming up. Also this upcoming weekend is opening for Murder Ballad which will be a must see for anyone in the Cleveland area! I'm glad to be ending my sophomore year at Baldwin Wallace University with a bang!
