Fall visit day was a major success! This past Saturday was fall visit day which is one of the biggest days for admissions on campus. This year we had over 1,000 high school prospective students looking to possibly come to BW, how exciting! The families I spoke with were very engaged and wanted to know as much as they could about the university.
Everyone was split into a tour group. I was not the lead tour guide I was helping answer questions and repeat what the lead tour guide was saying if someone missed something she said. I like being integrated into the tour group because I get to give them my opinion and outlook on how I view the school specifically rather than having to say certain things that are mandatory for a tour. We were split into I believe 13 different tour groups and I had the largest group of prospective students which if I had to guess how many I would say over 50! There really was no problems because we also had another helping tour guide who did what I did answering questions and whatnot, therefore with the 3 of us everything ran very smoothly. I truly enjoy being an example for prospective students and I love being involved with the admissions office! It is a fun great job that I really enjoy and am very thankful to have.
