Biography
While at BW, I was on the soccer team. I also participated in many service activities and alternative break trips with the Office of Community Outreach and was a member of the exercise science/pre-PT club. I got my MPH in epidemiology at the University of Pittsburgh and am currently finishing school in Pittsburgh to be a physician assistant.
Questions and answers
What is your favorite thing about BW?
My favorite part about BW was being on the soccer team. Some of my best friends are people I met playing soccer. Being at BW allowed me to play sports at a competitive level and still get a quality education.
What advice would you give to prospective students?
Get involved in as many activities as you can. If you are an athlete, don't only do athletic activities. Get involved in community service projects/events and go to the events the music and theater departments provide.
How did BW help you prepare for life after college?
BW offered challenging health and science classes that prepared me well academically for post-graduate studies. I was also introduced to lifelong friends.
What would you have changed about your undergraduate experience?
The only thing I would have changed is my major. I could have taken more classes that would have been more beneficial to me if I had been more sure of what I wanted to do. It's hard to know when you are 18 what you want to do for the rest of your life.
