Certificate Program in Human Resource Management
Human Resource professionals are responsible for helping to assure that their organizations attract, retain and motivate a work force able to achieve organizational objectives. The importance of the human resource function is growing as legal, motivational, productivity and cost factors become increasingly complex and critical to the success of business and other organizations. The Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) is the leading independent, internationally recognized certifying body for the HR profession. HRCI certifications require professionals to demonstrate their expertise in the core principles of HR practice and the application of those principles. The Certificate Program in Human Resources Management focuses on the HR body of knowledge addressed in the HRCI exams for PHR and SPHR designations or in getting re-certified through HRCI.
The Human Resources curriculum at Baldwin Wallace University is approved by HRCI. All for-credit Human Resource course work, both undergraduate and MBA, is acceptable for HRCI continuing education.
