Licensure Only course sheets detailing the requirements for each teaching area in the Licensure Only program may be obtained online below.
Early Childhood (Pre-Kindergarten-Grade 3)
This license is for candidates who wish to teach children in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 3 (ages 3 - 8). Students who complete the Early Childhood licensure program through Baldwin Wallace University will also receive the Reading Endorsement (PreK - Grade 3) as an addition to their Early Childhood teaching license.

Middle Childhood (Grades 4-9)
The Middle Childhood license is for Grades 4 through 9 (ages 8 - 14), and requires that teachers hold a license in two subject areas from the following: Reading and Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies. Students who select Reading and Language Arts as one of their Middle Childhood teaching areas will also receive the Reading Endorsement (grades 4-9) as an addition to their Middle Childhood teaching license. Students must complete requirements of the Middle Childhood Program Outline and 2 subject areas from the teaching fields for Middle Childhood.

Adolescent/Young Adult (Grades 7-12)
The Adolescent/Young Adult license is for subject-related teaching disciplines that span Grades 7 through 12 (ages 12 - 21). Teaching areas are listed below. Students must complete requirements of the Adolescent/Young Adult Program Outline and the AYA Teaching Fields of choice. See also Multi-Age, below, for additional subject-related teaching areas. Integrated Language Arts - Grades 7-12

Multi-Age (Pre-Kindergarten - Grade 12)
The Multi-Age license is for subject-related teaching disciplines that span Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 (ages 3-21). Students must complete requirements of the Multi-Age Program Outline and the Multi-Age Teaching Fields of choice.
