Group Voice Lessons and Classes

We offer both group voice lessons and classes. Group Lessons are 30 minutes each week, include 5 to 8 students, and cover all the basics of proper vocal technique. Group Classes are 60 minutes each week, include 8 to 12 students, and use a particular style of music (such as Broadway, popular songs, or classical song repertoire) to teach proper vocal techniques.            

 


Group Voice Lessons for Teens (ages 13 - 18)

A wonderful way to participate in the study of voice in a group setting which will build confidence and self-esteem in the young high school singer. Lessons will deal with basic vocal technique including positive breathing habits, posture, good diction, phrasing, and interpretation of song literature. OMEA song repertoire will be taught as well as musical theater selections. Purchase of songbook is required.

January 8 - May 11, 2013
15 weeks (no voice classes March 12 - 16)

$165 (excluding purchase of songbook) plus a one time per year, $15 registration fee
A short voice hearing with the instructor, prior to registration for the class, is required.

An excellent way for younger or older adults, whether beginner or intermediate, to participate in the study of voice in a group setting. Classes will deal with basic vocal technique including good posture, breathing, phrasing, and interpretation of song literature. Purchase of a songbook is required.
