Music as the Language of our World

 

June 10 - 14, 2013

This program is designed to improve reading fluency through musical activities.  Students will be assessed on a daily basis, and the program will be tailored to the needs to each student.  By using music and literature, our goal is to provide a fun, safe, and stimulating experience for those who participate.

Music as the Language of our World

The theme for this program will be Music as the Language of our World. Students will explore music and literature from several diverse cultures.

This program is designed to improve reading fluency through musical activities.  Students will be assessed on a daily basis, and the program will be tailored to the needs to each student.  By using music and literature, our goal is to provide a fun, safe, and stimulating experience for those who participate.
 
Registration will be available soon to students who have completed 2nd or 3rd grade by the summer of 2013.  Our program will serve the students of Crouse, Helen Arnold, Portage Path, and Schumacher Elementary Schools of the Akron Public School system for the 2013-2014 school year.

  • Free transportation by bus
