Comparative Management Seminar in
Beijing, Xian, Shenyang, and Shanghai, China
July 21- August 7, 2011
Summary
Sponsored by BW’s Division of Business Administration, the China Comparative Management Seminar will visit business, government, private sector, cultural and tourist sites in Beijing, Xian, Shenyang and Shanghai, China. Seminar participants will meet with government officials, representatives of major commercial sectors, business faculty/administrators and with BW alumni and friends living and working in China. Topics to be emphasized will include healthcare, marketing, import-export, finance, sustainability, government relations, and the cultural dimensions of doing business internationally. The seminar will include a particular emphasis on links between China and Northeast Ohio.
Travel cost US$3,500 (approximate)
Includes:

International and domestic airfare including roundtrip airfare from Cleveland-Beijing and all internal flights.

All ground transportation while in China.

All hotel accommodations. Buffet breakfast daily.

Most meals, including special tour lunches, an arrival and farewell dinner.

Airport transfers and local ground transportation and transfers to business site visits, including (sample): A major Pharmaceutical Co., New Oriental & Technology Group, Shenyang Aircraft Corporation, U.S. Embassy China, Brilliance China Auto, Weikang Hospital and others. Also included is admission to special activities such as: The Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Summer Palace, The Great Wall at Mutianyu , Major venues of the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and others.
