Mike Marinis has over thirty-five years of experience in the field of Human Resources Management. He is currently the Vice President of Human Resources for the Global Supply Chain of The Sherwin-Williams Company. The Global Supply Chain organization is responsible for worldwide manufacturing and distributing Sherwin-Williams, Dutch Boy, Minwax, Thompson's Water Seal, Purdy and other well-known brands of paint and paint related products. The Global Supply Chain has over sixty manufacturing, distribution and R&D facilities and employs approximately twelve thousand employees.
During his career with Sherwin-Williams, Mike has been the VP of Human Resources for several Divisions, including the Consumer Sales Division, the Industrial Coatings Division and Gray Drug Fair, a 600 unit Drug Store Chain owned by Sherwin-Williams. His responsibilities have included Employee and Union relations, Executive Recruitment, Training and Development, Safety and Compensation.
Mike is currently an adjunct faculty member at Baldwin Wallace University. He has also been on the faculty of Cleveland State University’s Executive MBA program, past president of New Life Community, a transitional housing program for single women with children, and member of several HR Management professional organizations. Mike holds an MS in Management Science from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ and a BA in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati.
